MatterThings Brings 3D Printing to the WearHacks Event in Montreal
Wearhacks - the biggest wearable hackaton in North America promotes innovation, entrepreneurship, and education in the Internet of Things and Wearables space. Their fundamental goal is to bridge the knowledge gap that exists in the IoT industry amongst technology enthusiasts from all backgrounds through hackathons.
MatterThings helped contribute to the event by supplying two of their MakerBot Replicator 2 desktop 3D printers.
"Thanks again for partnering with WearHacks and for contributing to the exposure of future technologies to our inspiring scientists of the future" - said Connie Leung.
WearHacks strive to make hardware education accessible, approachable, and affordable.
For an intensive 48 hours, people learned about new tools, met industry experts, collaborated with other talented students and young professionals and built new wearable and connected technology.
